Monthly Player Win Percentages
The awesome return statistics for Nevada’s casinos go back to June 1990. I’ve plotted below the monthly player win percentages from Nevada’s average return from January 2021 to January 2023 for:
- Downtown Las Vegas
- Las Vegas Strip
- Washoe County Reno Area
- Washoe County Sparks Area
- Elko County Wendover Area
- Elko County Balance of County including Jackpot, Nevada.

For these three years, Reno, Sparks, and Wendover had the highest return throughout. There’s a clear drop of around one-percent player win percent for the area of Jackpot, about tied with the usual state average of 92.7%, but downtown Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Strip are tied for last place.
Notice how unsteady returns are for downtown Las Vegas over these three years, compared to some unsteadiness for the Las Vegas Strip but very little wavering for the other Nevada areas. Remember that these returns are deliberately chosen.

But apparently there is some disagreement amongst the downtown Las Vegas casinos to what is that plan. And some slight disagreement amongst the Las Vegas Strip casinos.
Reno, Sparks, and Wendover are not only in total agreement with casinos in their city, but also with each other’s cities. In other word, all three cities have decided on the same plan for player returns.
