Maynard asks, “Better view of the room? Meaning the machine on the aisle vs. further from the aisle?”
Yes, the machine on the end of the row next to an aisle is more visible than a slot machine further into the aisle. But remember that my Highly Visible Slot Machines strategy is a choice by a casino. And a casino might choose to setup up few such machines, perhaps two at the largest intersection and another two over by the main casino entrance. I say “two” because if casinos do it, they’re trying to catch players coming AND going.

Like at the main entrance, they set up a machine to have better odds which a player might see a win on when leaving. Or see a win on when they arrive. Either way, that’s good for the casino. But this strategy depends on how much the casino is willing to spend on this strategy. Yes, it might be machines on the end of every row. Or it might be only at the entrance. It’s budgeted by each casino if they choose to do it at all. But most do it at least a little. Just look around and you’ll see it at no cost to you.
