Michele asks, “Is there a certain number of spins you use to move on from different types of machines?”
No. I treat all game themes the same. If you’re including Class II machines, that’s a longer answer which I’ll not get into here. For everything else, make ten bets. If you win anything at all, then make another ten bets for a total of twenty bets. Now ask yourself, is this machine paying enough? Is it a winner?

Not “do you have a feeling it’ll turn into a winner” but rather “have a won enough in twenty bets for this to be a winning machine”. If not, leave. If so, stay and make thirty more bets, then ask the same question again. If it’s paid out enough, stay. If not, leave. I call this the Tough Love Approach. If stay, make 50 more bets to bring your total to 100 bets, then ask yourself the same question one more time. After that, you’re on your own. Good luck.
